I've had my own "red folder" moment too. This year made me realize that my child isn't a baby anymore. I also don't get to appreciate time because of the "busy-ness" of life. I am trying to slow things down and allow some things to wait a little longer to get done.
This came right on time. I was just expressing to my little ones the same things. Slowness & sustainabilty is what I’ve been aiming for these days. Thank you 🤎
I’ve really been enjoying these tidbits you have been sharing on ways to slow down & enjoy the present while curating a life with things we already have. Truly highlighting the simplicity of life has been refreshing. Thank you for this 🤎
This is a needed. I am intentionally carving out more slowness in my life. And going back to the days (as best I can) when life was simpler, more still. I am getting back into gardening and I started reading again for pleasure last year and that’s been more healing than me reading the self improvement books I did.
I’m feeling very strongly about volunteering at an elderly/retirement home.
I say go for it 🤎
You've been peeping at my restful things to do... I also paint and dance in my den to old school music, and sing out loud with the songs...
Same! I dance and sing old school music out loud…my one woman concerts are my favorite. And Sundays are my favorite days to do it all!
Let's be each other's backup singer… giggles 😃
Yess 😁😁😁

Coming from a person who does not know how to "slow down", I thank you for this.

Great tips I’m going to try a few, deciding on the meal overnight bake on Saturdays / leave a book in the bathroom
Thank you 🫶🏾 I truly need to slow down, this was confirmation!
